Multimedia Presentation

• Multiple sources – divided screen, present and supports; custom made designed background, multimedia (video/image) area, 2 image slide show areas, and ticker area at one screen
• Provide Skin Editor, with an intuitive drag-and-drop user interface. Users can define the size and location of each video, image, and ticker as wish, and create skin files for various resolutions
• Support most popular codec and file formats, such as MPEG 1/2, AVI, WMV, WMA, MP3, JPG, GIF, etc.
• Support various resolutions for standard (4:3) and wide screens: 640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1280×1024, 856×480, 1280×768

Playback Management

• Support multiple media sources, including hard disk, compact flash card, USB flash disk, USB CD-ROM, internet, and real-time video/uni/multi/broadcast streamed from DSS or other supported streaming servers
• Support standalone playback of video, image slide show, and ticker, and server-client structure incorporating with DSS server by centralized management.
• Support real-time video broadcast, e.g. live TV programs. Administrators can remotely assign live video channels to players located in different sites, and schedule playlists with other media sources
• Support easy settings of ticker, which can deliver real-time messages of advertisements or information. Users can enter texts directly in the Web Manager, or feed texts from a file or URL

System Management

• Provide a web-based management tool, Web Manager, for easy remote control of the settings of each media player
• Support remote update of multimedia contents by Network Neighborhood over IP or centralized content distribution with DSS server or a web server per administrators’ plans through the Internet
• Support centralized grouping playlists editing for central scheduling and content management over large scale and multi-site applications
• Generate logs recording status of system, network, media player, and playback for management and analysis purposes
• Support system recovery function for quick on-site system repair service
